360° Swivelling Sheave

REQUIREMENT

APPM customer Raywood Contracting wanted a backline machine to use as a tie-off point. It needed to offer the height and mobility of a T-Bar setup, but without the rope wear caused by a traditional two-pulley set-up on a T-Bar.

SOLUTION

APPM designed, built and installed a new system using a large 360ο swivelling sheave. This halved wear on the rope because it is only running through one pulley.
