Chiller Power Pack

REQUIREMENT

The client was using this Powerpack to run the chiller at a meat processing plant. The pack kept running hot because of massive energy losses due to leaks, an old pump and an outdated system. Downtime costs ran into thousand an hour should the chiller go down.  

SOLUTION

APPM designed, manufactured and installed a new, hugely more efficient circuit using a K3VL45 pump and APV16 valve. This achieved massive savings for the client: over $5,000 per year in electricity costs alone, without downtime and repair costs.
