APPM collaborated with Arborcare to define their requirements and goals. The result was a custom-designed winch capable of delivering 5 tons of pulling force. The compact design was optimized for boom mounting, with a sheave installed at the top of the boom to achieve the required height. The system was supplied, installed, and commissioned to ensure seamless operation.

CHALLENGE

Arborcare wanted to expand their capabilities by equipping their 14-ton excavator with a compact winch. The winch needed to be mounted on the excavator boom and include a sheave for added height when winching trees. The solution had to deliver reliable performance while meeting space and operational constraints.
